NEW! -April 1, 2010
Marine Board -approved Internet courses changed formats to improve the learning experience:
- Pages will be timed so the student spends a minimum of three hours reviewing the course material online.
- Students must pass a chapter quiz before continuing to the next chapter. Failure to pass the quiz will require the student to repeat the chapter.
- Students must pass all of the chapter quizzes and the final exam in order to receive a Certificate of Completion.

Note: This course charges a $29.50 fee - the fee is NOT collected by the Oregon State Marine Board, but by Boat Ed.
If you pass the test, you have the option of paying an additional $10.50 (cost of the boater education card & processing fee) on-line to automatically receive your official Boater Education Card in the mail (which takes approximately two to three weeks). Or, you can print out your certificate of completion (make a copy) and mail a completed application Boater Education Card application (in PDF), plus $10, manually.

This course is approved, but not administered by, the Oregon State Marine Board.
