Let’s Go Boating Assistance Program
This Program is to provide funds to local community organizations for creative and innovative local projects that promote safe boating and educational programs. The funds will allow groups to address safety concerns on their local waterways or provide boating educational programs to the public. This Program is a reimbursement process; the non-profit Organization or Foundation will purchase all items and then request from the Marine Board a reimbursement.
- Nonprofit corporations or organizations (501(C)(3) tax filing status)
- Civic Leagues and Social Welfare Organizations, specifically Volunteer Fire Departments (501(C)(4) tax filing status)
Funds are available for the amounts ranging from a minimum of $500 to $2,500 maximum per year. The funding is available during the Federal Fiscal Year (October 1st – September 30th). Application(s) deadline is in the summer, normally in July, but will be announced each year.
