Marine Board Meeting Oct. 1 in Bend

The Oregon State Marine Board will meet at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 1, in Bend. Among other items on the agenda, the Board will begin to develop rules for removal of abandoned boats as directed by HB 3628A in the 2003 Oregon Legislature.

The agenda follows:

  • Director’s Report.
  • Report on staff findings regarding OAR 250, Div. 19 procedures for adopting, amending and repealing local and special rules.
  • Consider rulemaking to implement HB 3628 establishing process for removal of abandoned boats.
  • Education/Information Program Report
  • Law Enforcement Program Report
  • Facility Program Report - Consideration of Facility Grant Requests

The meeting will be held at the Bend Riverhouse Hotel, 3075 N. Highway 97. The meeting facility is accessible for persons with disabilities. Persons wishing to address the board on non-agenda items may do so during a designated period at the start of the meeting.
