Marine Board Honors Klamath County Parks Staff
For Immediate Release
The Oregon State Marine Board recognized the efforts of Bill Hudak of the Klamath County Parks Department with the Outstanding Parks Maintenance Staff Award. The award was given during the Marine Board’s bi-annual Facilities Grant Workshop in Salem, January 30.
The Parks Maintenance Staff award recognizes an individual whose efforts are instrumental in keeping public boating sites and facilities both safe and attractive for use by the boating public.
A visual inspection of the County’s parks shows the obvious care and professionalism Hudak and his staff have in keeping these sites clean, safe and attractive. “Bill Hudak is an individual who has both the hands-on expertise to make things work and the vision to see what needs to be done now, as well as the future,” said Wayne Shuyler, Boating Facilities Program Manager for the Marine Board. “His wealth of knowledge about the history and use of county facilities is a true asset to Klamath County.”
