Lincoln County Interagency Narcotics Team Investigation, Arrests

An ongoing drug investigation led by the Lincoln County Interagency Narcotics Team (LINT) has led to four arrests and the seizure of methamphetamine, cash, firearms, and associated evidence.
 
On June 4, 2008, LINT along with members of the Lincoln City Police Department, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Newport Police Department, Oregon State Police, and Lincoln County Parole and Probation served search warrants at 426 SW 2nd St. Apt 10 in Newport and 218 SE 98th St in South Beach. Officers seized approximately 2 ounces of methamphetamine from both locations, along with scales, packaging material and $1,800.00 in cash. Several firearms including assault type rifles were seized from the South Beach residence.
 
Officers arrested one person at Newport area apartment identified as SUNRISE DAWN SPINNEY, age 27, for UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - METHAMPHETAMINE. She was lodged in Lincoln County Jail. A 19-year old male at the apartment was detained but not taken into custody.
 
At the South Beach location officers arrested BRIAN MATTHEW OBERMEYER, age 30, and lodged him in the Lincoln County Jail for UNLAWFUL MANUFACTURE, DELIVERY and POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - METHAMPHETAMINE. A woman at the scene, identified as NICOLE JEANETTE REED, age 22, was lodged in Lincoln County Jail for Probation Violation.
 
As part of the continuing investigation, offices contacted ANNESHA MAY BROCKETT, age 23, at the Oregon State Police Office in Newport, and subsequently arrested her for PROBATION VIOLATION. She was lodged in Lincoln County Jail.
 
Investigation is continuing by LINT members. LINT is comprised of members of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Lincoln City Police, Newport Police, Oregon State Police, and the Lincoln County District Attorney's Office.
