| Fatal Traffic Crash - Dale Road near Highway 224 in Eagle Creek area | ||

Senior Trooper Jim Neufeldt Oregon State Police - Portland Office: (503) 731-3020 ext. 404 A New Jersey-area woman died Monday morning following a single vehicle crash on Dale Road near Highway 224 in the Eagle Creek area. Follow-up information from the Clackamas County Medical Examiner's Office indicates the cause of death was a medical condition unrelated to any injuries received in the crash. On November 27, 2006 at approximately 11:50 a.m., a 1991 Jeep Cherokee driven by DORIS J. CHRISTENSEN, age 62, from Estacada, was westbound on Dale Road just west of the Highway 224 junction at Eagle Creek when it lost control and slid off into ditch where it rolled. The passenger, LAMERNE DRACE, age 72, from Franklin, New Jersey, was injured and died at the scene. Oregon State Police troopers from the Portland Area Command office are completing the investigation. Poor weather and road conditions may have been factors in the crash. ### www.oregon.gov/OSP###
