The Oregon State Police has launched the Oregon State Police Facebook and Instagram page. We also have OSFM and OSP F&W accounts.
The OSP Twitter account has primarily been a quick way to pass along news releases and law enforcement information. The new Facebook and Instagram accounts are focused on community involvement, positive outreach and the work OSP does on a daily basis. We are looking for your help as we engage in collective outreach to highlight our accomplishments and the value we bring to Oregon. We have created an email account specifically focused on communities and our partners to share their stories. OSPSocial@state.or.us is an email address set up to send your photos, stories and community involvement messages out to the people of Oregon.
If you see something that embodies the OSP story, please send it us so we can share it with the public. When you send us an email, please let us know the date/time, activity and people involved. If there is a photo - please let us know if you were given permission to post their image on the web or social media. These photos can be work related or community engagement activities, whether "on" or "off "duty. One item of note, we will not be tagging people on any of the social media sites at this time.
