Trucker Check 6 Klamath Falls
June 22, 23, 24, 2004
The below listed Department members and one ODOT inspector were assigned to the Trucker Check 6 Klamath Falls Operational Plan for June 22, 23, 24, 2004 at the Klamath Falls POE.  This is where law enforcement and Motor Carrier Transportation Division staff work together to make our highways safer.

On June 22, 2004 Senior Trooper Dehaven was conducting a Level II Inspection and was assisted by Trooper Dave Chambers.  As a result of a consent search, a driver from  California was taken into custody and lodged in the Klamath County Jail for PCS-methamphetamine.  He was also cited for PCS-Less Than an ounce of marijuana and placed out of service.
 
On June 23, 2004, Senior Trooper Dehaven was conducting a Level II Inspection and was assisted by Trooper Dave Chambers.  As a result of a consent search, a driver from Idaho was taken into custody and lodged in the Klamath County Jail for PCS-methamphetamine.  He was also placed out of service.
 
In all, over the operation, 2 PCS-Meth arrests occurred and 3 PCS- less than an ounce of marijuana citations were issued.  Zero drivers were arrested for DUII.  11 Grams of methamphetamine and 8 grams of marijuana were seized.
