Purpose
To coordinate and implement consistent statewide fire prevention education.

Roles & Responsibilities
Office of State Fire Marshal
  1. Facilitate meetings and coordinate team activities.
  2. Provide data for decision-making and evaluation.
  3. Research, develop, facilitate, promote and support fire prevention education-related messages, campaigns, and model programs.
 
Association and Partner Representatives
  1. Gain support of association boards or partners for endorsement and promotion of team activities.
  2. Foster improved fire prevention education collaboration among Oregon fire departments, fire service organizations, associations, and partners.
 
Regional Representatives
  1. Represent the fire departments in their region.
  2. Gain support and involvement of fire department and community partners’ in carrying out campaigns, model projects or distribution of messages.
