| Wildland Urban Interface Community Assistance Grant Program |

This grant combines two funding programs into one collaborative process. The programs are 1) Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) Fuels Treatments Projects and 2) Fuels Utilization and Marketing Projects. Applications will be evaluated by a 3 step local, state, and federal review based on the criteria outlined for each of the program categories.
Funds for eligible projects must be adjacent to Federal Land and identified in a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) completed by February 8, 2007. Collaborated CWPP projects include implementation of fuels treatments in the wildland-urban interface and small diameter and biomass utilization and marketing demonstrations.
