Lost In The Line of Duty
William H. Hall of Corvallis, appointed July 1, 1959. On May 7, 1967, while operating a game patrol near Junction City, Officer Hall swerved to miss a girl riding on a bicycle, lost control of the patrol unit, and was thrown to the pavement. He succumbed four days later in a Eugene Hospital.
