Application Types Accepted via OWEB's Online Grant Application

Fall Acquisition Grant Offering

Land Acquisition and new Land Acquisition Technical Assistance​

Deadline for Acquisition grant applications: October 19, 2017. A pre-application consultation is required.

Applications submitted for the Fall 2017 grant offering will be considered for Board funding decisions at its April 2018 Board meeting.

Applications via National Fish and Wildlife Foundation's Online System

Water Acquisition Program Receiving Applications

OWEB no longer accepts paper applications unless otherwise noted. See below for how to register to use our online application system.

How to Submit an Application

1. Obtain a username and password. (If your organization already has a login for OGMS, skip this step.)

An OGMS login (username and password) is necessary to access the online grant application. An applicant must use his/her organization’s login if one exists. Only one login per organization is allowed. If no login exists, the applicant may request one.

If your organization does NOT already have an OGMS login and password, email Leilani Sullivan (leilani.sullivan@oregon.gov​​) and provide the following information.

  • Organization name and address
  • Grantee contact name and title
    (This is the person who will receive all communications from OWEB and sign any grant agreements.)
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number)

OWEB may only enter into agreements with legally established entities. Therefore, OWEB must internally review potential applicants prior to creating an OGMS login.

2. Log in to the Online Application. There are two ways to log in:​

​1) Access the online application directly and use your OGMS login.

2) Log in to OGMS​, find the "April 2017 Grant Applications" heading, and select the link below it.

Guidance to help you fill out the application is always available in the top navigation bar of the application. Templates of each individual application type are also available but only after you log in and choose to "Create a New Application."

Open Solicitation Application Webinar Recording

OWEB hosted a webinar in April 2017 to help applicants prepare for the 2017 Open Solicitation deadline. Topics covered were designed to help applicants strengthen Restoration and Technical Assistance grant applications and included new insurance requirements, changes to the budget categories, the online application, common budget errors, expectations for maps and metrics, and qualities of successful applications.
