| Deschutes Basin Mitigation Five Year Evaluation |

|
New permits for ground water in the Deschutes Basin require mitigation in order to protect streamflow in the Deschutes River Scenic Waterway. The Department is required to evaluate the program to assure that mitigation is resulting in no net reduction of flow in the scenic waterway. The Department has prepared an update report to let affected parties know how this effort is progressing and the preliminary results of the evaluation.

- The Department expects to have the evaluation available by January 17, 2008.
