Examination Information and Applications

| Take At Home Examination |
|
All individuals applying for registration as a professional engineer, professional land surveyor, or professional photogrammetrist by examination, comity, or 1st registration are required to successfully complete the Take At Home Examination. This examination tests the individual’s familiarity with and comprehension of applicable Oregon Revised Statutes (ORSs) and the Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs).
Note: Successful completion of the Take At Home Examination is required each time an application by examination, comity, or 1st registration is made.

| Examination Schedule |
|
Applications must be postmarked or hand delivered by 5:00 p.m. on the 1st day of December for the Spring examination administration or by 5:00 p.m. on the 1st day of June for the Fall examination administration. If the postmark deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal Holiday, applications are accepted until 5:00 p.m. on the preceding business day.

If you are a veteran and have taken or are preparing to take any examination offered by OSBEELS, you may qualify to have your examination(s) reimbursed by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. For information on eligibility and reimbursement, please consult the fact sheet from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
If you are ready to apply for reimbursement, you will need the VA Form 22-0803 and a copy of your Examiner's Certificate from OSBEELS.
