Annual Performance Measures
The Psychiatric Security Review Board was created in 1978 to assume jurisdiction over persons in Oregon found to be "guilty except for insanity" of a crime. The board's jurisdiction is equal to the maximum sentence provided by statute for the crime for which the person was found "guilty except for insanity
