The Administrative Hearings Division conducts evidentiary hearings and other proceedings on utility matters, including major rate cases. Through independent Administrative Law Judges, the Division helps ensures that a full and fair inquiry is made during the hearing process to provide an adequate factual basis for Commission decision making. In major cases, the agency often holds public comment hearings in outlying areas of the state to offer customers a convenient opportunity to participate.
