Real Estate License and Examination Information
Any person wishing to conduct professional real estate activity in Oregon must obtain a real estate license from the Oregon Real Estate Agency (Agency), which is the state government agency responsible for licensing and regulation of real estate and property management professionals. A person who performs real estate activities in Oregon without a license may be subject to substantial criminal and civil penalties.
 
The application process has four parts:
 
Original course completion certificates or transcripts which verify completion of courses must be submitted before a license may be issued.
