Kimberly Earp MBA, RT(R)(T) - Kim has over twenty years of experience in the field of radiologic technology and radiation therapy. She has been very active in the American Society of Radiologic Technology, serving on various committees and the editorial review board for the Radiologic Technology and Radiation Therapist professional journals. She is the Chief Therapist in Radiation Oncology, Supervisor of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT at Adventist Medical Center in Portland. She has also been the Radiation Safety Officer at Adventist for nine years and has actively worked with Oregon’s Radiation Protection Services to assure a safe environment for patients and employees.
Kim is very interested in promoting professionalism in the radiologic technology sciences and public understanding and assurance of the safe use of X-Rays and radioisotopes. She feels the active involvement interested professionals and the public lead to improved safety for everyone and is pleased to be serving the public on the Oregon Board of Radiologic Technology.
Kim is in her first term on the Board.
Frank Erickson, M.D. - Frank is a Radiologist, a resident of Oregon since 1994, a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology since 1986, with fellowship training in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University. He has been a Radiation Safety Officer for the US Navy Medical Corps and for St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, Oregon. He has been a daytime Teleradiologist since 2000, involved in all modalities, licensed in 10 states, receiving images for interpretation from over 25 hospitals at his home in Pendleton.
Frank is dedicated to promoting American College of Radiology Standards that feature high quality medical care while adhering to the guiding principle of "Do No Harm".
Frank is in his second term on the Board.
Thomas King BSRS RT (R), LRT chairs the Oregon Board of Radiologic Technology and is sincere in promoting all professional aspects of medical imaging. Since I began my journey in radiologic technology, my goal has been and still is to promote the profession and protect the integrity of the profession. Thomas believes all Oregonians have a right to receive top quality radiologic exams from professional providers.
- Graduated in 2004 from Portland Community College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Radiologic Technology, Associate of Science and General Studies.
- Graduated in 2007 Magna Cum Laude from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences, Orlando, Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Radiologic Science
- Weekend Imaging Coordinator at Salem Hospital (Till August 31, 2008)
- Radiologic Technologist at Salem Hospital (After August, 31, 2008)
- Temporary Instructor/Clinical Coordinator, Clark College Medical Radiography Program

Thomas is in his first term on the board
Frank J. Krause, BS, RDCS, FASE - Frank serves as Imaging Director Columbia Cardiology Associates in Portland. He served in the United States Navy earning the equivalent of a BS in Avionics during his service. His education also includes a BS in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound from Seattle University.
As the Public Member to the board Frank hopes to advocate for the patient by expecting only the highest standards for professional ethics and training from all providers. This will set a base to help ensure competency and quality patient care for all types of exams provided.
Frank is in his first term on the Board.
Terry Lindsey, BPh, EdM - Terry serves as the advisory member to the Oregon Board of Radiologic Technology. He is the Manager of the Radiation Protection Services Section in the Department of Human Services’ Office of Public Health Systems.
Radiation Protection Services has provided radiation protection standards for workers and members of the public in Oregon since 1948.
Terry supports professional ethics and training standards designed to ensure competency and excellent quality of patient care for all health care providers.
Shirlee Templeton, BS, CNMT is beginning her first term with the board. She has more than 15 years experience as a Nuclear medicine technologist and is currently on the faculty of Oregon Institute of Technology where she teaches in the Medical Imaging Program and is also the Radiation safety Officer. She loves teaching and helping young people become professionals. She holds professional membership in the society of Nuclear Medicine.
Besides many years of clinical experience, she frequently travels to Honduras to teach nuclear medicine in a nonprofit cancer clinic and lecture at the National University of Honduras.
She is very interested in the activities of the Board and wants to contribute to ensuring patients in Oregon receive care from qualified, credentialed and caring imaging professionals.
Patricia M. Williams, BS RPA/RA (CBRPA), RT (R), LRT- Joining as a Radiologic Technologist member on the board. Pat worked as a Radiologic technologist at OHSU for 17 years. She continues to work in Radiography and is now working as a Radiology Practitioner Assistant (RPA) with TRG at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. She is board certified by the ARRT and the CBRPA.
- Graduated 1990 from Portland Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology
- Graduated 2001 Cum Laude from Concordia University, Portland, Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management
- Graduated 2005 from Weber State University, Ogden, Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in Advanced Radiologic Sciences
- Board certified 2005 as a Radiology Practitioner Assistant by the CBRPA
Pat believes that every patient deserves the highest quality of care, and that goal will be achieved through education and certification of professional providers. Pat is looking forward to serving as a board member and helping shape the future of the health care of Oregon.
