Council Representatives
The SIEC is comprised of representatives from the following organizations:

Executive Committee
Committee Chair:
SIEC Chair - Chief Jeff Johnson, Oregon Fire Chiefs Association
 
Committee Membership:
SIEC Chair, SIEC Vice-Chair and SIEC Sub-committee Chairs
 
Committee Authority:
The Executive Committee is authorized to perform all functions and do all acts, between meetings, which the SIEC might do during regular meetings, except for amendment of the SIEC Charter or Strategic Plan. This committee has the power to convene or poll itself by majority vote in order to deal with time sensitive issues. During such interim period, its decision shall be final in matters determined "reasonable and proper."
 
Any decision made by the Executive Committee must be consistent with the formally adopted mission and be ratified at the next full SIEC meeting.

Partnership Committee
Committee Chair:
Commissioner Kathy George, Yamhill County
 
Mission Statement:
In order to promote both voice and data interoperability, identify and develop partnerships to maximize resource sharing and interoperability of communications first between federal, state, tribal and local governments; and, second with private entities.

Strategic Planning Committee
Committee Chair:
Kristi Wilde, Central Lane Communications District
 
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Strategic Planning Committee is to develop the framework of the State Interoperability Executive Council's (SIEC) strategic plan and facilitate the implementation of the Council's goals and objectives. Included will be assisting committees in developing charters, goals and objectives in support of SIEC's strategic plan.

Technical Committee
Committee Chair: 
Joe Kuran, Washington County Consolidated Communications Agency
 
Mission Statement:
Serve as the technical research and advisory resource for Oregon's State Interoperability Executive Council (SIEC). Assure that all governmental agencies in Oregon have the opportunity to participate in SIEC technical discussions and in formulating recommendations for the SIEC.
