Oregon SIEC Stakeholder Summit
 
2004 NW Wireless & Security Summit together with Oregon SIEC Stakeholder Summit  
 
On behalf of the Oregon State Interoperability Executive Council, you are invited to the SIEC Stakeholder Summit. It will be held on October 20 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.   Learn about the local and state efforts to improve public safety communications so that agencies can talk to one another on demand, in real time, when needed. Coordinated by the SIEC, this summit will present the latest information on gaps, governance and grants.
 
 
Summit topics include:
  • What is "interoperability" and why everyone should care about it
  • Trends in New Technology, Spectrum Policy and Interoperability - A National Perspective
  • Easy to Implement and Easy to Fund Solutions to Low Level Interoperability, and
  • Who Decides What´s Right for Oregon?
 
 
 
The summit will be held in conjunction with the Northwest Wireless Conference so there is plenty more for participants to learn about.
