SUPREME COURT REPORTERS

         Frank A. Turner of Salem was appointed Robert G. Morrow's successor on August 4, 1908. He compiled volumes L to XCIX inclusive. 
  
        James W. Crawford of Salem was appointed in place of Turner, and the record shows that he compiled volumes C to CXXXI inclusive.
 
        Upon his resignation, Bryan Goodenough of Salem was appointed to the office of Court Reporter on January 28, 1930, and retains the position at present time (February 1941). Volumes CXXXII to CLXIII have been published during his incumbency.
 
        Under legislative act of 1939, Mr. Goodenough's official duties were increased as ex-officio Code Commissioner. He assisted in the work of inspecting copy for the O. C. L. A. which is now the official publication of statutes of this state.
