Electrical and Elevator Board

The Electrical and Elevator Board helps the director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services administer the electrical and elevator programs described in ORS 479 and ORS 460. The board also oversees the licensing and enforcement of these programs to ensure that the persons involved are appropriately licensed and the work meets minimum safety standards.

Verbal testimony

To sign up in advance to provide verbal testimony at a board meeting, please email the board's coordinator. Instructions for providing testimony will be sent to you. The length of your testimony is at the discretion of the board and is usually limited to a few minutes.

Written testimony

Please email written testimony to the boards coordinator at least 24 hours before the meeting. Include your name, organization, and the related agenda item.
