Building program assumption

Program assumptions

Municipalities requesting to assume new building department programs or additional parts of a program must provide a full-service program as described in ORS 455.148. The municipality must also prepare an assumption plan as detailed in OAR 918-020-0095.

If a municipality would like to assume an electrical program, the requirements in OAR 918-308 must also be followed.
