Oregon State Apprenticeship & Training Council
The Oregon State Apprenticeship and Training Council (OSATC) is made up of eight members appointed by the governor and confirmed by the Senate. Four of the council members are from apprenticeable construction occupations, two from other apprenticeable occupations, and two from the public. The construction and other occupation members are equally divided among employee representatives and management. The Council has statutory authority to oversee apprenticeship committees, programs and policies and to approve apprenticeship committee members. The commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries serves as the chairperson; the director of the bureau’s Apprenticeship and Training Division serves as its secretary.

OSATC Meeting Information

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Oregon State Apprenticeship and Training Council meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 19, 2014 is cancelled.  The second quarter Council meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 10:00 am and will take place at the NECA-IBEW Electrical Training Center, 16021 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR  97230.  BOLI, ATD and the Apprenticeship Council apologize for this inconvenience.
