Jerry E. Hudson served as president of Willamette University for 17 years and executive vice president of the Collins Foundation for 11 years. He has been involved on the boards of the PGE Foundation, the Collins Foundation, Oregon Historical Society (OHS), Japanese Garden Society of Oregon, The Library Foundation and the Chalkboard Project. Mr. Hudson has a B.A. in History from Lipscomb University in Nashville; M.A. and Ph.D. in American History from Tulane University in New Orleans; and Honorary Doctorates from Pepperdine University, Tokyo International University, Willamette University and University of Portland.
