2024 State Employee Recognition

Every year we celebrate Public Service Recognition Week (May 5-11) taking the opportunity to thank public employees for their service, make visible their important work and deepen connections between state agencies and the communities they serve.


For this year’s Public Service Recognition Week, we have chosen the theme of Operational Excellence. Whether their customers are external or internal, we want to hear about your employees who embrace principles such as respect for every individual, continuous improvement and empowering others. These principles help create a culture of excellence within Oregon state government. We want to acknowledge and celebrate those who see, deliver and improve our commitment to our customers through the important work they do every day. 


Since 2017, agencies have nominated staff to receive recognition. Below are links to past honorees.
