The self-insurance policy manuals describe what losses are and are not covered under this program.The insurance fund, established by ORS 278.425, is used to provide both self-insurance and commercial insurance coverage for state of Oregon agencies. 

This policy establishes the liability self-insurance coverage provided to state agencies alone, by the insurance fund. The policy also establishes the conditions, standards and other requirements that govern or control the use of this coverage.
