October’s Disability "MegaConference" Spotlights Employment
At last year's Megaconference the theme was technology and dozens of vendors showcased their products for conference goers to view. This year's theme is employment.
The Oregon Disability MegaConference, coordinated by a coalition of disability organizations throughout Oregon, is slated for October 25-27 in Salem. The shared purpose in creating this conference is to provide a forum to educate, empower, inspire and connect people involved in the field of disabilities.
Three days of outstanding educational sessions, nationally acclaimed speakers, and offerings from outstanding exhibitors and vendors will be featured. We expect attendees to include parents and family members, individuals experiencing disabilities, educators, community organizations and agencies serving individuals across all disabilities.
This year the MegaConference will kick off with an Employment Extravaganza on October 25th. An entire day will be devoted to bringing together some of the most advanced and knowledgeable individuals and companies from throughout Oregon and the nation to educate and inform on the many ways in which individuals with disabilities can become employees and business entrepreneurs.
Together, across all disabilities, we are able to educate, empower, inspire and connect people with disabilities, their family members, and those who support them.
