Pharmacies

Pharmacies play a critical role in the new Medicare Prescription Drug program. They are the primary contact for many people with Medicare and are critical in helping seniors and people with disabilities navigate the new program. This is especially true for individuals who receive their medical services through both Medicare and Medicaid.

• 4/28/06 - Overrides extended to at least 5/31/06
• 4/11/06 - Overrides to be discontinued 4/30/06 
• 3/31/06 - Oregon DHS Overrides Continue through April 2006  
• 1/14/06 - Temporary Medicare Part D Billing Instructions for Dual Eligible Clients in Oregon
• 1/13/06 - Governor issues emerency prescription drug assistance for medicare beneficiaries
