I know we've covered a lot of new information in the past weeks - new organizational chart, new management map, new office names, etc. I've heard from some of you, and I agree, that now is a good time to take a deep breath and let this all sink in. I encourage you to keep thinking about it and talking about it in your work units, and I hope you'll keep the feedback and ideas coming to your supervisors. Just remember, it's all about getting our work aligned so we can meet our goals and achieve the outcomes we all want for our clients, our families and our communities. In the end, it's the results that make a difference.
Here we are in October already, and in the coming weeks my messages will cover the important October events of National Disabilities Employment Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I'll also talk about our Core Values rollout. Finally, we're doing a new scorecard, based on the agency's new management map, so I'll cover that report, too.
I know how hard everyone is working, and I'm proud of the work you do to serve Oregonians across the state. Thank you for your dedication and commitment.
Have a great week.
