Council on Health Care Interpreters

The Council on Health Care Interpreters will meet in Portland on Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Room 918 at the Portland State Office Building, 800 NE Oregon Street. The major agenda item is a presentation and discussion of a model testing process to determine the proficiency of those who apply for certification as a health care interpreter.

The Council on Health Care Interpreters is appointed by the Governor and advises the Oregon Department of Human Services on developing and implementing standards for health care interpreters.
