State Home Care Commission to meet Thursday
What: Public meeting of the state Home Care Commission.
When: Thursday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Cornerstone room, Building 53, 4070 Winema Place, N.E., Salem.
Agenda: Commission members are scheduled to hear reports from the home-care worker qualifications and registry committees; from the "better jobs-better care" planning committee; and from representatives responsible for conducting criminal-history checks. A time for public testimony is scheduled at 10:15 a.m.
The nine-member Home Care Commission, authorized by voters in November 2000, is charged with improving care to Oregon seniors and people with disabilities.
