State Home Care Commission to meet Thursday

What: Public meeting of the state Home Care Commission

When: Thursday, April 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: North DSO Office, 3420 Cherry Avenue N.E., Salem

Agenda: Commission members are scheduled to hear reports from the training and registry committees. In addition there will be an update on health insurance, a report on the Employed Persons with Disabilities Program, and a report on intergovernmental agreement and human resource policies.

A time for public testimony is scheduled for 10:15 a.m.

The nine-member Home Care Commission, authorized by voters in November 2000, is charged with improving care to seniors and people with disabilities.
