Governor's Commission on Senior Services to meet Friday, committees to meet Thursday
What: Public meeting of the Governor's Commission on Senior Services
When: Friday, September 23, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Committees meet on Thursday, September 22, and the schedule is as follows:

Health, Abuse and Long-Term Care, 8 - 10 a.m.

Mental Health and Addiction Services, 10:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

General issues, 1 - 3 p.m.

Legislative advocacy 3:15 - 5 p.m.
Where: Room 166, Human Services Building, 500 Summer Street, N.E., Salem
Agenda: Agendas and minutes are posted on the commission's Web site.
A time for public testimony at the full Commission meeting is scheduled for Friday at 9:20 a.m.
The Governor's Commission on Senior Services is charged in Oregon statute with advising the Governor and the director of Human Services on needs of elderly persons, and recommending actions by the Governor, the Department of Human Services, other governmental entities and the private sector appropriate to meet such needs.
