Governor's Commission on Senior Services meets Friday
What: Public meeting of the Governor's Commission on Senior Services.
When: Full commission will meet on Friday, Dec. 9, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Committees will meet on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Health, Abuse and Long-Term Care committee -- 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Mental Health and Addiction Services Committee -- 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Legislative Advocacy Committee -- 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
General Issues Committee -- 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Full commission in Room 166, Human Services Building, 500 Summer St., N.E., Salem. Committees in Small Hearing Room, Public Utilities Building, 550 Capitol Street NE, Salem.

Public testimony before the full commission meeting is scheduled for Friday at 9:20 a.m.
State law charges the Governor's Commission on Senior Services with advising the governor and Oregon Department of Human Services director on needs of elderly persons, and recommending appropriate actions.
