When: Wednesday, February 8, 2006, 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, February 9, 2006, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
A time for public testimony is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on February 8, and noon on February 9. A time limit of three minutes per person is in place. If special accommodation is needed, please give 48-hour advance notice.
Where: Salem Inn, 1775 Freeway Court NE, Salem.
Agenda: Senior and People with Disabilities' rule process, Department of Human Services/Senior and People with Disabilities update, and an update on the Medicare Modernization Act (MMA).
The DHS People with Disabilities Advisory Committee has as its mission, "To critically review and promote programs and policies within DHS by advocating, protecting, and developing services that are essential for enhancing choice, dignity, and independence for people with physical disabilities."
