Senior Services Commission meets Friday, committees on Thursday
Who: Governor's Commission on Senior Services.
What: Public meeting.
When: Full commission on Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Committees will meet on Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.:
Health, Abuse and Long-Term Care, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Mental Health and Addiction Services, 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
General Issues, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Legislative Advocacy, 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
A presentation on House Bill 2389, providing tax credits to certain displaced manufactured-home owners, will be made Friday by a representative from the office of State Rep. Jerry Krummel from 12:15 p.m to 12:45 p.m.
Where: Room 166 of the Barbara Roberts Human Services Building, 500 Summer Street, N.E., Salem.

A time for public testimony at the full Commission meeting is scheduled for Friday at 9:20 a.m.
The Governor's Commission on Senior Services is charged in Oregon statute with advising the governor and the Human Services director on needs of elderly persons and recommending appropriate actions by the governor, the Department of Human Services other governmental entities and the private sector.
