Commission on Senior Services to hold three-day planning session
Who: Governor's Commission on Senior Services
What: Planning Meeting
When: Wednesday, September 20, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday, September 21, 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, September 22, 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Canby Grove Conference Center, 7501 Knight's Bridge Road, Canby, Ore.
These three days are the time when the commission traditionally conducts its own internal planning for the next two years. Agenda items include a roundtable discussion of priority issues (Wednesday), a keynote address by Margaret Neal, Director of the Institute on Aging at Portland State University, (Wednesday), planning discussions by breakout groups (Thursday), review/summarize priority goals (Friday). The commission will also appoint committees and elect officers at this meeting. The public may provide direct comment in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org
