Background: The Oregon HIV Care Coalition was formed in 1999 to help the DHS HIV client services program define a continuum of medical and supportive services for low-income persons living with HIV in Oregon. Members represent federal, state, and local health and social services agencies and programs. Additional members are appointed to represent the perspective of persons living with HIV and other stakeholders from the community.
