Heart Gallery of Oregon features portraits of children waiting to be adopted

Details: The Heart Gallery of Oregon reception kicks off a traveling display of photographs taken by Oregon professional photographers to capture the spirit and personality of foster children. The exhibit features about 40 children who are in need of permanent homes.

The reception includes short remarks from Gov. Ted Kulongski, DHS Director Dr. Bruce Goldberg, and former legislator and adoptive parent Bryan Johnston. Pamela Vorachek, director of A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village, and Rolanne Stafford, founder of Heart Gallery of Oregon, will provide an overview of the grassroots work to establish a Heart Gallery in Oregon. More than 40 states have established Heart Galleries.
