Meeting notice: tobacco reduction advisory committee
What: Tobacco Reduction Advisory Committee meeting.
When: Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Where: Suite 710, Portland State Office Building, 800 N.E. Oregon Street,
8 a.m.: Welcome, introductions, review TRAC membership and responsibilities.
8:45 a.m.: Tobacco legislative review.
9:15 a.m.: Best Practices for Comprehensive Tobacco Control Programs, as recommended by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
10:00 a.m.: Tobacco prevention program proposal for future program activities.
10:45 a.m.: TRAC recommendations.
11:30 a.m.: Wrap-up and next steps.

The Tobacco Reduction Advisory Committee is appointed by the Governor and advises the Oregon Department of Human Services on the development and implementation of the tobacco prevention and education program.
