Governor's Commission on Senior Services to meet Thursday and Friday

July 26: Caregivers Committee, 10 to 10:50 a.m.; Special Presentation on Seniors and People with Disabilities updates and the future of long-term care, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Working Lunch, Noon to 12:50 p.m.; Elder Abuse Committee, 1 to 2:50 p.m.; Mental Health Committee, 3 to 4:20 p.m.;
July 27: Full Commission 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Public comment at 10:20 a.m.

The Governor's Commission on Senior Services is charged in Oregon statute with advising the governor and the director of Human Services on needs of elderly persons, and recommending actions by the governor, the Department of Human Services, other governmental entities and the private sector, appropriate to meet such needs.
