Governor's council to hear comments on DUII referral system
What: Public meeting of the Governor's Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs
Whe n: Jan. 22, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Where: Barbara Roberts Human Services Building, Room 160, 500 Summer St. NE, Salem
Agenda: Council members will hear citizen testimony at 9:35 a.m. about Oregon's 20-year-old referral and treatment system for persons arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII). The council will discuss workforce development issues for alcohol and drug abuse programs at 10:30 a.m., and hear a fiscal analysis of ballot measure 40. At noon, there will be announcements from council members and community liaison groups, then a council discussion on the Governor's Children's Wraparound Initiative Report and a report on underage drinking protocols in Jefferson County.
