January 24: 10-11:50 a.m. -- Caregivers Committee; noon-12:50 p.m. -- presentation and discussion about Oregon’s Certificate of Need Program, Jana Fussell, Public Health Division; 1- 2:50 p.m. -- Elder Abuse Committee; 3-4:50 p.m. -- Mental Health Committee.
8:15 -- 9:45 a.m. -- Legislative Committee; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. -- Full Commission; 10:15 a.m. -- Public comment. Commission highlights include a presentation from Dr. Dan Baer on Medicaid Reform and discussion on health care reform featuring representatives of The Archimedes Movement.

The Governor's Commission on Senior Services is charged in Oregon statute with advising the Governor and the director of the Department of Human Services on needs of elderly persons, and recommending actions by the Governor, DHS, other governmental entities and the private sector appropriate to meet such needs.
