Governor's council to hear about family drug prevention program
What: Public meeting of the Governor's Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs
When: Feb. 26, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Where: Oregon Dept. of Human Services, Room 160, 500 Summer St. NE, Salem
Agenda: Beginning at 9:35 a.m. council members will hear reports on DHS Addictions and Mental Health Division’s Cultural Competency and Strengthening Families programs, plus workforce survey results from the Addiction Counselor Certification Board of Oregon. At 11:30 a.m. there will be announcements from council members and community liaison groups, and a visit by alcohol and drug counseling students from Chemeketa Community College. At 2 p.m. there will be a report on the Governor’s Children’s Wraparound Initiative Project.
