The Office of Licensing and Regulatory Oversight (OLRO) is responsible for licensing or registering, regulatory and corrective action function for long term care facilities and agencies including Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Residential Care Facilities, Room and Board Facilities, 24 Hour Residential Services, Supported Living Services, Employment and Alternatives to Employment Services, Academic Boarding Schools, Foster Care Agencies, Adoption Agencies, Children’s Residential Care Agencies, Therapeutic Boarding Schools, Children’s Day Treatment Agencies, Outdoor Youth Programs and Homeless, Runaway and Transitional Living Shelters.
OLRO’s mission is to conduct licensing and regulatory oversight of providers to promote the health, safety, and independence of individuals receiving care and support services.
