Tribal services, including nutrition services and support for family and informal caregivers, are funded through Title III and Title VI of the Older American's Act. A designated tribal liaison ensures the efficient use of funds by coordinating services to maximize available resources and prevent duplication. The tribal liaison works in collaboration with Oregon tribes, Area Agencies on Aging and community partners to provide home and community-based supportive services to Native American elders.
