General Services
General Services Division:
The General Services Division is responsible for the delivery of services that are fundamental to the day-to-day operation of the department.  The services provided enable access to information, the procurement of goods and services, inventory of critical assets, accounting for dollars spent, maintenance and renovation of existing facilities, and the timely distribution of goods.  These services provide the foundation upon which the department operates safe, secure, and civil institutions aimed at holding offenders accountable and reducing the risk of future criminal behavior.
The General Services Division is responsible for administration of the following units:

    • Food Administration (Statewide Food Standards, Operational Oversight, Menu Development)
    • Property Control (Asset (non-expendable) Management and Disposal)
    • Warehouses and Distribution (Inventory Management, Transportation)

    • Benchmate (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
    • Utility Manager (Utility Consumption and Expenditure Tracking)
    • Deferred Maintenance Tracking, Reporting and Correction
    • Existing Facilities Expansions and Remodels
