Department of Revenue closing its Salem Field Office Feb. 18
SALEM—The Oregon Department of Revenue's Salem Field Office on Commercial Street is closing its doors February 18, the agency announced.
The field office will be open normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through February 18.
The field office's 21 employees-agents, auditors, and support staff-will move to the headquarters building on the corner of Center and Capitol streets.
"The state will save approximately $257,000 a biennium by combining the two Salem locations," said Marvin Rhodes, personal income tax administrator.
