Criminal Fine Account (CFA) coupon for municipal and justice courts
Municipal and justice courts use payment coupon to report the amount of funds collected for the Criminal Fine Account (CFA) to the Oregon Department of Revenue.

For information regarding current criminal fines law, please see ORS Chapter 153 (Violations& Fines).

There are three categories of funds reported on this coupon:

  • Program 912 – ORS 153.633 CFA: This figure is moneys payable to the state described in ORS 153.633 for offenses committed on or after 1/1/12.
  • Program 928 - Fines (state share): This figure is fines payable to the state described in ORS 153.640 to 153.650 for deposit in the Criminal Fine Account.
  • Program 926 – Other: This figure is all other moneys (not described above) payable to the state.  It includes Unitary Assessment, LEMLA, IDPF, State Court Security Assessment, that portion of the former County Assessment payable to the state, Diversion Fees and any other amounts that are payable to the state.

If no funds are collected for either or all categories
Submit a coupon for the month even if no funds were collected. If there were no collections for a particular program, enter -0- in the box for that program. If there were no collections for any program, enter -0- in all the boxes including the “Total” box, and mail the coupon without a payment.

Timely submitting -0- amount coupons helps us keep your account accurate, record future payments into the proper time period, and eliminates sending you a late payment notice.

Payment due date
Remit payment and coupon to the Oregon Department of Revenue by the last day of the following month the funds are collected (for example, funds collected in January are due by the last day of February.)

Delinquent dates
Payments become delinquent on the 10th of the month following the due date. If you remit payments after this date, you may be charged interest. Refer to the instructions on the back of the coupon for additional information and reminders.
